MARTIN PERRY TRUE OR FALSE?
Here is what Martin Perry had to say about the A27 on the Albion Roar on the 14th October 2017
"Highways England have appointed independent consultants who have gone through all the catchments, all the trip generation and they have written to us and confirmed we've got it right"
We emailed Highways England on the 27th to query this and had a reply from David Bowie at HE. The second paragraph reads, I can confirm Highways England have not agreed to the New Monks Farm Development.
Next we move onto what he told the Brighton Argus on the 26th January and this is what he said
The scheme would bring huge benefits to the local economy while helping the club's neighbouring £30 million training ground and pay off some of the £200 million chairman Tony Bloom had invested into the club.
Back to the Albion Roar interview and Martin Perry said " So all the money that goes into it but all the money that comes out of it gets ploughed back into the club"
HOPE HE TOLD TONY BLOOM!!

IT'S NOT A DONE DEAL! Just a few of the latest objections:-
South Downs National Park Authority 8th March

Following their planning meeting last Thursday, the South Downs National Park have submitted their objection.
As requested by their planning committee members at the meeting, the final version has certainly been made more robust than the original officers’ recommendation. Still prepared to cooperate on the required mitigation issues but it is quite a powerful rebuff on what’s been done or more precisely has not been done by the developers so far. They even suggest moving the IKEA further south and relaying out the site!
NATURAL ENGLAND 9th March

Natural England have now objected and they too are still seeking answers to earlier questions on biodiversity/landscaping/SSSI impacts which the developer has also failed to answer. An SSSI is a Site of Special Scientific Interest. The 60 hectares of mud flats in the river estuary have this denomination which is a protection for the wading/feeding birdlife and this rich feeding ground habitat in the mud flats. 24/7 pumping of stream water into the river could damage locally situated parts of this habitat.

drainage consultant, the Environment Agency plus others.
